Children entering 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades will learn the EA unit, "Bubble Bonanza: Designing Bubble Makers", which explore how bubbles behave and investigate properties of materials they can use to create bubble makers. Camp participants in this session will not only engage in the EA unit, ultimately creating a solution to the design challenge that they can take home, but will also take home two related trade books to extend their science/engineering learning at home. Students will also get the opportunity to meet real engineers working in the field and gain a better understanding of what it is to be an engineer.
