Harford Writers' School II  

Designed for the continuing writer, having the equivalent of Harford Writers' School I, this course keeps your writing on track, and allows time for peer review/critiques. Learn more about setting, creating characters, dialogue, plot development, and reaching an effective conclusion. This hybrid course offers both online and classroom instruction.

Kevin Cowherd-Speaker  

Come to the Harford Writers' School Friday Night Book Fair, meet regional authors, and listen to keynote speaker Kevin Cowherd in the Chesapeake Theater. Kevin is the co-author, along with Hall of Famer Cal Ripkin, Jr., of the New York Times bestseller "Hothead" and three other baseball novels for young readers. Cowherd's latest book is "Hale Storm: The Incredible Saga of Baltimore's Ed Hale, Including a Secret Life with the CIA."

Screenwriters Seminar  

Participants learn how to write and submit scripts that attract agents, producers, and buyers in the TV and movie industries. Offered through Paramount Communications, students learn the steps to writing a screenplay and are given an inside look at what goes on in a Hollywood studio.
