Bayard House and More  

Explore Chesapeake City that starts with a tour of the C & D Canal Museum where we will learn about the history of the canal. Lunch is at the Bayard House overlooking the canal and Chesapeake City's best restaurant according to Tripadvisor. Our three course lunch starts with a choice of Maryland crab soup or salad. For your entree, choose between Chicken Geneva (topped with ham and Swiss cheese on a sun-dried tomato cream sauce), shrimp and scallop scampi on fettucine, or sirloin steak with mushrooms and onions. A glass of wine, iced tea, or soda and dessert (chef's choice) included. After lunch we will have two activities: a 70 minute narrated boat ride on the Miss Claire, an authentic canal work boat and time to shop and enjoy the architecture of this historic town. Designate lunch choice on the liability form and return the form with your registration.

Cape May Christmas Tour - Cape May, New Jersey  

More than 20 bed and breakfast inns, guesthouses, hotels, and churches open their doors and share their charm, holiday cheer, and Victorian interiors during the annual Candlelight House Tour. Free shuttle served on heated trolleys and two refreshment stations with fresh-baked cookies, wassail, tea and coffee await you as you embark on the self-guided tour of Cape May's finest. Leave HCC at 9 a.m and arrive in Cape May around 11:30 p.m. You will have plenty of time to have lunch and see the town before the candlelight tour begins at 5:30 p.m. Bus leaves Cape May at 9 p.m. for the return trip to HCC. Course fee includes travel by motorcoach and admission to house tour. Dress for the weather!

Dickens at Hotel Hershey  

This heartwarming show-of-the-season is performed by Gerald Charles Dickens, great-great-grandson of literary master, Charles Dickens. During his energetic one-man show, Dickens brings A Christmas Carol to life. He leaps, he sobs, he laughs…as he entertains…depicting 26 characters of the classic tale, with just a table, wing chair, and hat rack accompanying him on stage. Mr. Dickens will be available after the performance to sign a special selection of books and gifts. Afternoon tea will be served prior to the performance and a drive thru Hershey Sweet Lights will follow the performance. Don't miss it!

Monticello, Michie, Ash-Lawn  

Spend a full day exploring Charlottsville, Virginia. First stop is Monticello, home of Thomas Jefferson where you will enjoy a self-guided tour through the Visitor's Center before boarding the shuttle for a quick ride to Monticello. Tour the original, authentically furnished house and take a walk through the grounds. Then its's on to Michie Tavern where you will be served lunch by smiling staff in period attire and take a tour of the tavern. The final stop is at the home of ultimate entertainers James and Elizabeth Monroe, Ash Lawn-Highland.

New York's Financial District Walking Tour and 9/11 Museum  

Take a guided walking tour of New York's financial district that includes a visit to the Musuem of American Finance. The terrain is mostly flat in this part of town;however, the tour does involve moderate walking. Following lunch, continue to the 9/11 memorial with a guided tour of the memorial and museum. Radio City Music Hall - New York City, NY  

Join us for a fun-filled day in New York City’s Rockefeller Center! The day includes a guided tour by an expert historian who will explain the fascinating history behind the legacy of Rockefeller Center. You will also have a chance to marvel at the exquisite art and architecture before witnessing Manhattan’s most breathtaking views from 70 stories up from the Top of the Rock. There will be limited time to shop and grab a bite to eat before our 2:00 p.m. performance of the legendary Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall. Bring your walking shoes because you have a lot to see and do! Course fee includes transportation by motorcoach, the Rockefeller Center Tour, entrance to Top of the Rock, 2:00 p.m. performance of the Rockettes, bus driver gratuity, and academic escort. WheatonArts & Cultural Center  

WheatonArts is a national cultural treasure, located on 65 wooded acres in southern New Jersey. It is home to the Museum of American Glass, the Creative Glass Center of America International Fellowship Program, the largest folklife center in the Garden State, a hot glass studio, several traditional craft studios, and five museum stores. In addition to daily glass blowing and artist demonstrations, WheatonArts features special exhibitions and programs throughout the year. During our visit, you can watch world class glass art created in the Glass Studio; tour the Museum of American Glass with its notable collection; and walk through the craft studios and see skilled artists at work. You will also have time to browse the fine selection of handcrafted gift items in the wonderful museum stores. If you are interested in creating your own work of art, you can include a "Make-Your-Own" Experience by calling 800-998-4552 or 856-825-6800, ext. 139. Zoolights - National Zoo  

ZooLights at the National Zoo in Washington, DC is a winter holiday event that is sure to be fun for the whole family. It features thousands of sparkling lights featuring sculptures of many of the Zoo’s most popular animals, including giant pandas, Asian elephants, gibbons, a sea lion, an octopus, and a Komodo dragon. Visitors at ZooLights will enjoy winter-themed crafts, ice sculpting demonstrations, choral groups, and storytellers. Visitors can warm up inside the animal houses and enjoy nocturnal animals. The Small Mammal House, Great Ape House, Reptile Discover Center, Think Tank, and Kid’s Farm will be open.
