Around The World Embassy Tour  

More than 40 embassies representing six continents open their doors to visitors. Travel the world as you experience the food, art, dance, fashion, and music of different countries. Cape May Christmas Tour - Cape May, New Jersey  

More than 20 bed and breakfast inns, guesthouses, hotels, and churches open their doors and share their charm, holiday cheer, and Victorian interiors during the annual Candlelight House Tour. Free shuttle served on heated trolleys and two refreshment stations with fresh-baked cookies, wassail, tea and coffee await you as you embark on the self-guided tour of Cape May's finest. Leave HCC at 9 a.m and arrive in Cape May around 11:30 p.m. You will have plenty of time to have lunch and see the town before the candlelight tour begins at 5:30 p.m. Bus leaves Cape May at 9 p.m. for the return trip to HCC. Course fee includes travel by motorcoach and admission to house tour. Dress for the weather!

Cherry Blossom Cruise

Dickens at Hotel Hershey  

This heartwarming show-of-the-season is performed by Gerald Charles Dickens, great-great-grandson of literary master, Charles Dickens. During his energetic one-man show, Dickens brings A Christmas Carol to life. He leaps, he sobs, he laughs…as he entertains…depicting 26 characters of the classic tale, with just a table, wing chair, and hat rack accompanying him on stage. Mr. Dickens will be available after the performance to sign a special selection of books and gifts. Afternoon tea will be served prior to the performance and a drive thru Hershey Sweet Lights will follow the performance. Don't miss it!

Fords Theater: Widow Lincoln  

April 2015 marks 150 years since the assassination of Abraham Lincoln. This play, set in the 40 days following the Lincoln assassination, explores the tenacious attitudes and heartbreaking grief of the maligned Mary Todd Lincoln. Prior to the performance, visit the Peterson House, the Center for Education and Leadership, and tour the theater.

Mansions on Delaware  

From the time of William Penn through the turn of the 20th century, many of Philadelphia’s first families built their country estates on the banks of the Delaware River. By river barge or carriage they came to escape the heat of summers in the city and it was here that they entertained some of the foremost figures in the history of our nation. Enjoy a visit to the country estates of Andalusia, Glen Foerd, and Pennsbury Manor along the banks of the Delaware River where you will explore three centuries of gracious living in Bucks County. A late lunch (1:30) is included at King George’s Inn. This tour includes stairs and a good amount of walking. Houses are not heated so dress for the weather.

Monuments by Moonlight  

When the sun goes down, Washington turns into a different city. Now is your chance to the see the city in a different light - moonlight! Visit some of the city's most popular monuments including Iwo Jima Memorial, FDR Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Veteran's Memorial, Korean War Memorial, and the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial. Along the way, you’ll be transported back in time as you ride along the same streets the presidents have traveled, and hear historical tales and anecdotes about the city's fascinating history. You will have time to step-off the bus and visit the monuments up close. Dress for the weather. A boxed dinner is included to enjoy on the way.

Mount Vernon by Candlelight  

Join “Mrs. Washington” as she hosts an enchanting evening of candlelight tours, fireside caroling, and hot cider and ginger cookies. Tours include dancing, merry music, and characters from the Washingtons’ world guiding visitors through the first and second floors of the home, adding ambiance and authenticity to a traditional Christmas evening at Mount Vernon. Prior to the candelight tour, have dinner (included) at Gadsby’s Tavern, the most historic restaurant in the United States.

Pearl S. Buck House/Gardens  

Pearl S. Buck, author and humanitarian, lived 40 years in China and 40 years in Bucks County, PA. She was a human bridge between the East and West. As you walk through her pre-1824 Pennsylvania stone farmhouse, you will learn her life history, which began in childhood as a daughter of missionary parents in China and ended as a Pulitzer and Nobel-prize winning author. Lunch included.

Radio City Music Hall - New York City, NY  

Join us for a fun-filled day in New York City’s Rockefeller Center! The day includes a guided tour by an expert historian who will explain the fascinating history behind the legacy of Rockefeller Center. You will also have a chance to marvel at the exquisite art and architecture before witnessing Manhattan’s most breathtaking views from 70 stories up from the Top of the Rock. There will be limited time to shop and grab a bite to eat before our 2:00 p.m. performance of the legendary Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall. Bring your walking shoes because you have a lot to see and do! The European Union Delegation to the U.S. and the embassies of the EU Member States invite visitors to experience the authentic music, dance, food, film, and art of 28 distinctive nations along with a rare behind-the-scenes look into the European Union embassies. Previous participating embassies include: Croatia, Denmark, Finland, Hungary, Latvia, Malta, Portugal, Slovenia, United Kingdom, Austria, Cyprus, Estonia, France and the Federal Republic of Germany, Ireland, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Romania, Spain, Belgium, the Czech Republic, the Delegation of the European Union, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, Republic of Poland, Slovakia, and Sweden.

Woodberry Kitchen and More!  

Our first stop will be the Baltimore Basilica, America's first basilica that dates back to 1806. It’s restoration to its original glory was completed in 2006 and you will enjoy a very informative tour that includes the crypt. Our next stop is Woodberry Kitchen, in a quaint Baltimore neighborhood. Woodberry Kitchen ranks among Baltimore's best restaurants and is a place where getting a reservation can be tricky. Highlights include a private lunch with a talk about the building, the restaurant history, and a cooking demonstration. Lunch starts with passed hors d'oeuvres of house smoked fish and a spring vegetable tart that is a house specialty. The main course is served family style so you can taste everything on the menu. It includes a spring salad, a whole wood burning oven roasted chicken with spring vegetables, braised beef with mashed potatoes, cookies, and other sweets. After lunch, visit Millstone Cellars, a Monkton ciderie in an 1840' grist mill where you will learn about (and sample!) hard ciders and mead.

Zoolights - National Zoo  

ZooLights at the National Zoo in Washington, DC is a winter holiday event that is sure to be fun for the whole family. It features thousands of sparkling lights featuring sculptures of many of the Zoo’s most popular animals, including giant pandas, Asian elephants, gibbons, a sea lion, an octopus, and a Komodo dragon. Visitors at ZooLights will enjoy winter-themed crafts, ice sculpting demonstrations, choral groups, and storytellers. Visitors can warm up inside the animal houses and enjoy nocturnal animals. The Small Mammal House, Great Ape House, Reptile Discover Center, Think Tank, and Kid’s Farm will be open.
