The Travel Professional  

This course provides an overview of the Travel and Tourism industry with a specific focus on the role of the travel professional today, while preparing the novice for entry into the travel industry environment. Topics include how to identify the various types of travelers and match them to the correct travel products, the difference between escorted to independent tours, how airline computer reservation systems operate, travel documentation, ground transportation systems, the cruise industry, the basics of sales and marketing, and how to build a professional travel agent resume.
