This course follows up the previous Bridges class an addresses in greater detail the key lessons in dealing with individuals living in or raised in poverty. Topics include the differences in perspective between economic cultures and how those differences affect opportunities for success. Specific attention will be paid to formulas for success in school, substance abuse prevention, and assistance programs.
Delve further into NASW's Code of Ethics. This course looks specifically into the ethics of documentation including client information, client-provider session notes, billing, and related legal issues. Senior adult and disabled retiree tuition waivers apply. Transcript available. Eligible for 3 MBSWE Category I CEUs.
