Computer Basics for Allied Health  

Acquire the basic computer skills required for employment as an Allied Health professional. Learn the fundamentals of Microsoft Windows, file management, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Access. Along with learning the basic components of the computer, students will learn to navigate the desktop; store and retrieve files; create, save and print a Word document; work with formulas and tables in an Excel spreadsheet; and create and modify an Access database. Healthcare Provider CPR  

This course is designed for medical care providers and provides instruction for CPR (one- and two-rescuer) and relief of choking for the adult, child, and infant victim. Topics include the use of airway devices like the bag valve mask and various pocket masks. All participants must be able to kneel on the floor beside a manikin for extended periods of time. Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens  

This course, designed for anyone with a reasonable chance of coming into contact with bloodborne pathogens, provides instruction regarding workplace exposure. Topics include reducing the chance of exposure, personal protective equipment, and exposure incident response. Meets Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements for bloodborne pathogens training when paired with site-specific instruction.
