Computer Basics for Allied Health  

Acquire the basic computer skills required for employment as an Allied Health professional. Learn the fundamentals of Microsoft Windows, file management, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Access. Along with learning the basic components of the computer, students will learn to navigate the desktop; store and retrieve files; create, save and print a Word document; work with formulas and tables in an Excel spreadsheet; and create and modify an Access database. Be prepared! This course, designed for first responders, individuals needing credentialed training for job or regulatory requirements, and those interested in responding to emergencies, provides you with the opportunity to learn basic first aid including medical, injury, and environmental emergencies. Topics include control of bleeding, fracture and sprain care, and accident scene security. Meets OSHA regulations.
