HCC's Continuing Education and Training Division is pleased to offer partial week child care for three- year-olds. (Partial week care is defined as three consistent days). Center operating hours are 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.. Our goal is to encourage children to develop emotionally and intellectually while gaining a positive self-image. The balanced curriculum includes music, art, crafts, storytime, drama, science, math, and language arts. Classes will meet in our new Early Learning Center on campus. If you love to get messy and be creative then you should sign up for Awesome Art Camp! We will use our hands, feet, and imaginations to create amazing pieces of art using a variety of art materials. Don't wear your Sunday best because we will get messy!
Canvas Art Camp is a week long camp full of painting fun. Your child will get to paint an exciting new picture each day on a stretched canvas. Clear some room on your walls because you will want to hang these up!!!

Join us for a sweet week in Cookie Camp, where we will be making several different kinds of cookies. At the end of the week you will bring home all of these delicious recipes for you to use in the years to come!
Do you love cupcakes? Would you like to learn how to decorate some of the coolest cupcakes ever? At cupcake camp, we will make different cupcakes every day. We will even publish our own “Cupcake Cookbook”! There will be plenty of yummy tasting and cupcake fun and games to go around!
Dynasty Dance will teach your child the basics of Ballet and Jazz. Throughout the program we will also provide education about the different dance forums and a short history about where dance comes from. The last weeks are focused on reviewing skills and learning choreography for a mini recital at the end of the 12 week session.
Children will stretch their imaginations as well as their toes as they dance their way through a storybook collage of fairy tales. Children will explore elements of creative movement, modern, ballet, and jazz and construct simple costumes and props in a daily craft activity. Look forward to an enchanting dance presentation for family and friends. Attire: Leotard, tights, and ballet slippers or socks. Bring a snack and drink daily.
Join us for an exciting 12 weeks of sports mix. During the 12 weeks we will be working on learning the basic skills of Soccer, Lacrosse, Basketball, and 3 weeks of Kids in Motion. Kids in Motion will cover several other sports and fitness concepts such as Track and Field, Volleyball, and Tabata. We will also play fun warm-up games and learn about stretching. Kids in Motion will cool down with Yoga.
Are you a Star Wars fan? Then this is the camp for you. Come join us as we embark on an adventure through space. Join forces with your favorite characters from the Star Wars movies to take down the evil Darth Vader. We will train you in the ways of the Jedi. May the force be with you!

Welcome to HCC’s Pirate Cove where all the pirates will gather for a brand new adventure. We will play pirate games, sing pirate songs, and make some awesome pirate art. You will even make your very own parrot. Be prepared for the culmination of our festivities with face painting and an exciting treasure hunt with unforseen riches as your reward. YO HO, HO...it's a Pirate Camp for you!
Let us make your child’s early experience in the sport of soccer both positive and fun! Focus will be on getting comfortable with the ball and will include basic soccer skills such as dribbling, passing and shooting through fun games and lesson plans. Real game situations will also be presented. These classes are taught in partnership with Dynasty Sports Academy and run by Pro Soccer Player Mike Lookingland and staff.
Have you always wanted to be a princess? At our Princess Party you will be five different princesses in one week! Come join the party as we play fun games and hear stories about our favorite princesses and make beautiful princess crafts. Feel free to dress as your favorite princess. See you at the castle! Please bring a nut-free snack daily.
Join us as we continue our journey in reading. Word families and phonic decoding skills will be emphasized. This class is also great for second graders who haven't mastered reading. Instructor has over 35 years teaching experience in the public schools. Must be able to recognize basic sight words.
Is your child ready and willing to read? Join us for a fun-filled reading adventure for children who already recognize the upper and lower case letters of the alphabet. Reading skills will be taught through song, sight, and phonic recognition. Techniques and ideas will be provided for practice at home. Class size is limited so register early. The instructor has over 35 years teaching experience in the public schools.
Presenting a great opportunity for your young child, ages 3-6, to learn Spanish through games and student-centered activities. This opportunity is available to students with no Spanish language experience. The class will include an introduction to Spanish with hands-on activities such as games, songs, crafts, and stories.
If you had a supe rpower, what would it be? Explore the world of super heroes and use your imagination to see what kind of super hero you would be! Design your own super hero emblem on a t-shirt and a cape to take home. Make your own super hero figure and watch him or her fly! You can even show your super hero strength by learning to bend light! Bring your imagination and be ready to be amazing as you play games suited only for super heroes!
Can't get enough Ninja Turtles? This is the place to be! Explore a world battling petty criminals, evil overlords, mutated animals, and alien invaders! Little heroes in a half shell will make a turtle related craft each day and learn just how these guys get it done! Please bring a peanut-free snack daily.
